It gives us immense pleasure to share that Lexstructor has successfully conducted its very first event, the ‘1st National Online Quiz Competition on Constitutional law’ on 5th June 2020. The main purpose behind organising this event was to encourage the students to widen their knowledge regarding various aspects of the Indian Constitution and strengthen their grip on landmark cases. The quiz contained 50 MCQs with an automatic time counter of 30 minutes. The questions for the quiz were based on Constitutional provisions, amendments, related case laws. The competition had received a total of 55 participants from various universities all across the country.
The event had witnessed an immense enthusiasm by the participants. All 55 participants had attended the event. The participants were well prepared and although the level of questions given was from moderate to difficult, the participants surprised us with their in-depth knowledge and information and had delivered an outstanding performance.
The final scores between the participants were close but out of all these participants:
- • Mr. Sachin S Panicker, a student of 2nd year, BA.LLB from VM Salgaocar College of Law, Goa, had emerged as the winner by obtaining the highest score, thus, won a cash prize of Rs. 500 and secured a virtual internship under Corp Comm Legal,
- • Mr. Manu Sharma, a student of 4th year, BBA.LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Pune was declared as runner-up of the competition and won a cash prize of Rs. 200 and secured a virtual internship under ProceJureLaw; and
- • Mr. Kartik Bohra, a student of 2nd year, BBA.LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad was declared as second-runner up of the competition and won a cash prize of Rs. 100 and secured a virtual internship under ProBono India.
Along with these 3 top participants, Mr. Jyoti Prakash Dutta, a student of 4th Year, BA. LLB from University Law College, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha and Mr Aswanikumar Bairagi, a student of 5th Year, BA.LLB from School of Law, Galgotias University had secured a virtual internship under ProBono India and availed a 15% off on online courses conducted by Katcheri.in for obtaining 4th and 5th position respectively.
