Hon’ble Mrs. Justice N. Mala

Smt.T.N.Mala the youngest daughter of Late Mahakavi Sri Sri and Saroja Sri Sri.

Did schooling in St.John’s Senior Secondary School and Kesari High School.

Graduated in law from Madras Law College (5 yr. BL course, second batch)

Enrolled in the Bar council of TN and Puducherry in August 1989.

Joined office of Senior counsel R.Sundaravaradan, (Senior Counsel, Honble Supreme Court of India) and Late K.S.Ahamad, former Government Pleader and Public Prosecutor, Govt of Puducherry.

Started practice in the civil appellate side and gained vast experience. Was also appointed as an Amicus curie in a second Appeal by the Hon’ble Court relating to the mandatory nature of Section 69 of the partnership Act, which was later reported in leading law journals.

Appointed as Govt. Advocate in the office of Government Pleader, Puducherry during the tenure of Late T. Murugesan in 2008 and later became Additional Govt Pleader.

Appointed as Government Pleader – Additional charge in June 2020, and continued till elevation.

Due to long stint of almost 12 ½ years in the Government Pleader Puducherry office, gained rich experience in various fields of law.

Was panel Advocate for United India Insurance company, and New India Assurance company.

Conducted individually a full bench reference relating to the liability of Insurance companies for gratuitous passengers which is reported in 2009 CTC.

Panel counsel for AFT, Pondicherry Engineering College, and Puducherry University.

Appointed as panel counsel for High Court, Madras both at Chennai and Madurai bench by ICMR( INDIAN COUNCIL FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH) New Delhi for their institutions in Chennai, Madurai, and Puducherry.

Appointed as panel Advocate for High Court Lok Adalat. Presided Mega Lok Adalats along with Justice K.K. Sasidaran and Justice M. Satyanarayana.

Married to Sri.N.Radha Ramana, Working in Chennai Petroleum Corporation. Blessed with two sons, N.SRINIVAS JAYA PRAKASH a practicing Advocate, High Court, and N. Sai Pradeep, a student.

A deeply religious person with a motto God delay’s but does not deny if you pray with faith and have patience.
