People behind this website: This website is brainchild of Ms Jyoti Srivastava [Advocate & Legal Consultant & Trained Mediator in Commercial Mediation (from Samadhan, Delhi High Court & IICA under the aegis of Ministry of Corporate Affairs); Joint Secretary, Council for Conflict Resolution-Maadhyam; Former Counsellor-in-Chief, Rainmaker.
Jyoti started this website in the year 2015 to capture research in law and legal development. She is a 2006 batch lawyer and is educated from the prestigious Hindu College, Delhi University. Before joining law profession, she was a civil service aspirant and had cleared civil service prelims exam. She is a practicing as an advocate and a legal consultant before Delhi Courts and outside as well.She has served in capacity of Honorary Advisor to organisation like BRICS Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She has experience of working with reputed organisation like Rainmaker as its Counsellor-in-Chief. She started her career before Supreme Court of India while working with the leading law firms in Delhi where she had represented both International and domestic clients in litigation and corporate matters. She is also a panel mediator with the ICADR and has been trained jointly by Samadhan and IICA in advanced commercial mediation.
Her paper regarding laws on Foster Care in Asia was published in an International Journal on Alternative Care. She was also part of team contributing to the Golden Jubliee Book of the Delhi High Court.This website is her initiative to keep our legal practitioners, corporates, individuals and other related professionals updated about the legal developments in different practice areas of law for their legal query.
