Indian Journal of Projects, Infrastructure and Energy Law (IJPIEL)
The Indian Journal of Projects, Infrastructure, and Energy Law (IJPIEL) is a Not for Profit, Student-Run Initiative that aims to pioneer the academic discourse on this niche yet rapidly developing arc of law by publishing insightful and thought-provoking pieces of academia. IJPIEL was founded by a group of 5 students from renowned schools across India who took cognisance of the lack of meaningful discourse on this area of law in ADB’s largest borrowing nation. Having gained experience in this field through our internships, moots, summer and winter schools across 5 different continents and 18 different nations – it is our aim to share our resources by making them accessible to law students and practitioners. Our driving force is the vision of a self-reliant India which is at forefront of the clarion call for sustainable development and new and renewable forms energy and infrastructural innovation.
Since our inception in July 2020, we have been humbled by the support received by practitioners and now wish to open the platform to students, practitioners and other members of Projects, Infrastructure and Energy Law field. We hope to achieve our goals of inclusion and diversity through our skilled and talented student fraternity and hope to become an ideal platform for authors from all walks of life to be able to act as catalysts in the growth of this fascinating new area of law.
