FACTS OF THE CASE

Daniel Snyder has filed the present application in view of the non-compliance of the orders of the Hon’ble Court. The plaintiffs had filed a suit against the defendants wherein the Defendant had sought for Permanent and Mandatory injunction, Prohibitory injunction, and damages to the tune of Rs. 7 5 Crores on account of the illegal, mala-fide, malicious and vindictive acts of the Defendants in defaming the Plaintiff by way of publishing defamatory, derogatory, and libellous posts on its news website reliant upon false information further allowing the uploading of the impugned posts by the Defendants thereby causing defamation and massive loss of reputation to the Plaintiff. The plaintiff had further sought the source of the information stated in the articles. In view of the same and specifically considering the discovery proceedings initiated in the United States, the plaintiff has come in possession of certain material which has also been placed on the record of the Hon’ble Court.

The matter is being pursued by Athena Legal before the court and is presently sub-judice.
