VDR Training for Mediators – 20th & 21st February 2021 – KFCRI

KFCRI is offering “Virtual Dispute Resolution (VDR) Training” for interested experienced and/or accredited Mediators and Mediation Trainers in furtherance to its release of “KFCR VDR Guidelines 2020” on 3rd of August 2020.

Virtual mediation (VDR) requires a modified approach to using Information technology in the dispute resolution process (ADR). Therefore, VDR training is necessary for the mediators to learn, adapt and enhance their mediation skills in an expert digital forum.

The course will elaborate on how different Video Conferencing platforms are being used for the conduct of Mediation Sessions. Skills of technology and virtual mediation will be imparted through engaging and practical sessions.

The “VDR Training for Mediators”, details are as follows:

Date:   20th & 21st February 2021, (Saturday & Sunday)

Time:   10:00 am – 05:00 pm

Venue: Zoom Meetings, Online

On confirmation, the candidates have to register their details and pay the course fee:

• Course Fee: INR 10,000
• This fee shall be considered as “CONTRIBUTION” or “DONATION” and is entitled for claiming exemption u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

On successful completion of the course, candidates will be provided with an exemption towards certain Mediation Accreditations at KFCRI upon payment of the Annual Subscription Fees alone i.e. Associate at Mediation Practice (AMP-KFCRI) [INR 2,500] & Fellow at Mediation Practice (FMP-KFCRI) [INR 1,500 + INR 10,000].
