- For mandatory e-filing for selected case types from 01.01.2022 as suggested by Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Chairperson, E-Committee, Supreme Court of India, Notification was issued on 20.12.2021 by the High Court of Rajasthan and e-filing has been made mandatory in cases filed by the Central and the State Government in Rajasthan High Court. Detailed guidelines have also been issued to streamline the entire process of mandatory e-filing in the above cases.
- On the request of the Rajasthan High Court, E-Committee has also provided a separate mechanism for the creation of e-filing user accounts for Government Advocates. By using this mechanism, e-filing user accounts have been created for Advocate General, Additional Advocate Generals, and other Government Advocates/Counsels. Thus, all preparations have been made and the entire process has been set to successfully implement mandatory e-filing in Rajasthan High Court.
- Rajasthan High Court has set up e-filing centers both at its Principal Seat Jodhpur and Bench at Jaipur so that under one roof, the process of e-filing can be done by Advocates and Litigants. At these centers, not only scanning facility is made available but the advocates/ litigants either themselves can do the e-filing or they may get it done from the trained persons deputed at these centers. All these facilities have been made available to Advocates and Litigants on a very nominal charge of only 50 paisa per page. For these services, the firm, already engaged in digitization work at Rajasthan High Court has been deputed.
