CPCB calls for covering open land with green grass on the roadsides, creation of green pavements to contain dust pollution in cities
In a significant measure for controlling the dust pollution in cities and ensuring ground water recharge, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), has strongly recommended covering the open land with green grass on the roadsides, planting herbs & shrubs on the pavements/roadshoulders and compliance of the Urban Development Ministry.
