In a significant development, Khaitan & Co today announced the promotion of 21 Associates to Partnership and 11 to Counsel across its offices effective from 1 April 2022.
The addition of new Partners and Counsel, takes the strength of firm’s leadership to 200 Partners and 25 Counsel firmwide, giving it the distinction of becoming the first Indian law firm to reach the 200-partner count.
The new Partners and Counsel are drawn from the firm’s market-leading practices across its offices in Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai and Singapore.
