A three-judge bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra said that a limited number of devotees can be permitted in temples during the Unlock period provided adequate safety measures and social distancing guidelines are adhered to.

They said an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) has been filed against the accused named in the FIR that includes Rhea Chakraborty, her family and six others.
Supreme Court to Centre: ‘Ensure Frontline Worker Salaries Paid on Time, Quarantine Not Treated as Leave’
THE WIRE (August 1, 2020): Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka and Tripura are yet to follow directives on timely payment of salaries to healthcare workers engaged in COVID-19, the Centre on Friday told the Supreme Court, which said it cannot be “helpless” in implementing the directions. A bench of Justices Ashok Bhushan, R. Subhash Reddy and M.R. Shah asked the Centre to also clarify on treating compulsory quarantine period of healthcare workers as leave and deduction of their salaries for the same period. “If the states are not complying with the directions and orders of the Central government, you are not helpless. You have to ensure that your order is implemented. You have got the power under the Disaster Management Act. You can take steps also”, the bench told Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre.
SEBI postpones Margin Rules Implementation by One Month
THE NEW INDIAN EXPRESS (July 31, 2020): Bringing some relief to stockbrokers, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Friday postponed the implementation of the new rules for upfront margin collection in the cash segment by a month. The norms will now come into effect from September 1, instead of the previously scheduled August 1. Further, the regulator has also eased the norms. It said in a circular that if stockbrokers collect a minimum 20 per cent upfront margin, then a penalty for short-collection or non-collection of margin shall not be applicable. The penalty provision for short-collection or non-collection of upfront margin in the cash segment shall be implemented with effect from September 1.
