The Expansion of the Firm
Algo Legal today announced that Namitha Mathews will be joining Algo Legal as a Partner and will be leading the litigation practice for the firm. Namitha comes with 14 years of experience in litigation, dispute resolution and corporate advisory assignments across jurisdictions.
She is also bringing along her team from Samvid Legal to Algo, this includes her long-standing associate Poorva Pant who has graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2015 -this will help set-up a strong practice for the firm.

Legal Journey of Namitha
Namitha joins Algo with the experience of running her own successful independent litigation practice called Samvid Legal in Delhi which she started in 2017. A graduate from Symbiosis School of Law, Namitha has evolved onto a full spectrum practice on the litigation side being actively involved in all aspects of litigation from the trial stage up to the appellate stage, while also managing to nurture a robust practice on the corporate side working primarily in the areas of corporate governance, private equity and infrastructure project implementation.

The development brings in the change of practice domain of merger and acquisition and PE advisory law firm Algo Legal to have a bandwidth of litigation practice as well. An alumnus of Symbiosis Law School from 2006 batch, Namitha has worked with UCOL Advocates and SPLC Advocates and Consultants before starting Samvid Legal in January 2017.
