Pallavi has been a driving force in further enhancing the positioning of SAM & Co as India’s premier full-service law firm ever since she took over as a Managing Partner in 2015. Under her guidance, the firm has grown to become more than a 100 Partners entity, diversified practice offerings, accelerated pan-India presence with offices in seven cities and embraced technology initiatives such as the use of Artificial Intelligence to transform the way the Firm works.
Pallavi has been instrumental in establishing a number of special initiatives for women that includes versatile work arrangements, flexible timings, women-centric events and fostering women lawyers to advance to leadership roles.

Important Representation & Engagements
- Pallavi has been appointed as a member of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance (India Chapter – one of 5 women in India selected), constituted by the Government of India.
- Pallavi has been a key member of the high-powered SVS Raghavan Committee, which contributed to formulating the legal framework for the new Competition Law and a draft of the New Competition Act.
- As a member of the Committee set up by the Government of India to advise the Government on Compliance with Article 39.3 of the TRIPS, Pallavi played a pivotal role in formulating and drafting policy documents necessary for the continuing efforts to establish India’s first ‘Zero Piracy Zone’ for the state of Karnataka, and for developing an anti-piracy advocacy program for the Indian judiciary.

For her legal acumen and thought leadership, Ms Shroff is frequently featured by several international publications. She is ranked “Band 1” for competition law by Chambers and Partners 2019 and “market-leading lawyer” by Asialaw Profiles 2019. Ms Shroff has recently conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Chambers India Awards 2019. Ms Shroff has been recognised as one of “the most powerful women in Indian business” by Business Today, six years in succession (2013–18). Fortune India has also named her one of “the most powerful women in business, 2018”. Recently, Business World recognised Ms Shroff as one of “the most influential women in India” for her exceptional contribution in the field of law.
